日本から帰ってきたばかりで、秋葉原周辺を一番探したが、結局、東京から電車で1時間ほどの場所にあるハードオフに行くことになった。雨の中、1時間歩いて店まで行って帰ってきた。

Just got back from Japan as well, looked most around Akihabra as well but ending up travelling to some hard offs like an hour train ride out from tokyo, managed to find some great deals at some hard offs on a few PSP's and a GBA SP which was great. Walking an hour to get to the store and back in the rain not so much.

Every used products have tags with explanations of condition details(I see it on your donkey kong's and GBA's tag), but you're right, shop workers have to make sure about condition things for customers when they purchase it...
I guess they will usually do it for japanese customers, but as you know most of japanese can't speak English at all, that's why they omitted to do it for foreigners... so sorry about it...

Dang, I came as soon as you left it looks like. I won't say it's bad depending on what you're looking for. Super Potato hooked me up with some nice GB games for honestly a pretty dope deal, all things considered. Can't play them though since no Analogue Pocket on hand(fuuuuuck) but still solid deals.

ニューヨークがアメリカの他の地域とは違うのと同じように、東京＝日本ではない。次回は、秋葉原に行く代わりに、より適正な価格の小さな都市に行ってみよう。

Tokyo does not equal Japan, in the same way that New York is not like the rest of the US. Next time, try visiting some smaller cities for fairer prices instead of going to Akihabara.

秋葉原のゲーム・ゲーム機の価格が高いことはかなり前から知られている。 ただ、店舗数が多いので、お目当てのものが見つかる可能性は高い。

It's been known for quite a while that game/console prices in Akihabara can be high, so I wouldn't really call it a SCAM. The only thing it's got going for it is the sheer volume of stores, making it so there's a good chance you'll find what you're looking for.

秋葉原は2015年以来、値段の高いがっかりする場所だ。
