美しい......それなのに、私は自分の子供がどうなるのだろうと考えている......。30代になってもこの名曲を聴くことができるなんて、私は本当に幸せ者だ。

曲の終わりに近づくにつれ、背後から優しいきしみ音が聞こえてくる。それはまるで、肘掛け椅子に腰掛けた老人が、自分の過去を語っているようだ。

Toweard the end of song, i hear gentle creaking in the background. It is like an elderly sitting in his armchair telling you the story from his past.

これほど美しい映画音楽を聴いたことはない。特にスタジオジブリの作品としては。

I don’t think I’ve heard a more beautiful song for any film than this. Especially for being a Studio Ghibli film

「君たちはどう生きるか」のクレジットで、この曲が流れ始めて、彼が歌い始めた瞬間、私は心を奪われた......すごい。なんて声なんだ！

その歌い方、歌詞、そして彼の声の痛みが、母親に対する絶望と憧れを完璧に表している。

As the credits rolled for the boy and the heron and this song started playing, I was captivated the second he started singing…. wow. What a VOICE! Can’t believe so many people in the cinema were leaving as this was playing.

The delivery, the lyrics and the pain in his voice perfectly demonstrates the mc’s despair and longing for his mother it actually got me in tears 🥲

ジブリには米津玄師の歌声はとても合っていて素敵だ。そして、米津玄師の歌声は素晴らしい。

Kenshi has a beautiful voice and he sounds so wonderful ❤️🥰🙌🏻 I love that Kenshi Yonezu sings for Ghibli and Kenshi has amazing singing voice😆🥹

Intense and beautiful...

とても美しい曲だ。宮崎監督が初めて草稿を聴いたとき、涙を流したということを米津玄師のインタビューで知った。クリップも美しく作られている。

This is such a beautiful piece of song. It made me cry....I learnt from an interview with Kenshi that Miyazaki san shed tears when he first listened to the draft song. The clip is also beautifully made.
