率直に言うと、98％くらい確信してる。DokyoのNFTを買い漁ったんだけど、Avalancheで次なるビッグウェーブになると思ってたんだ。でも正直言って、期待はずれだった。それで思ったんだけど、NFTって実際は文化的なものなのか、それともただ金儲けなのか？

I'm pretty confident, like 98% confident. Just minted some Dokyo NFTs, expecting them to become the next big thing on Avalanche. But, honestly, they didn't live up to the hype. It begs the question: Are NFTs more about culture or just profit?

The future of NFT certainly is not with copy pasting 1000 of the same jpeg with a small overhaul. Imho it's with for example ingame item ownership which is tradeable.

前のNFTブームの時には、利益目的じゃなくて自分が気に入ったNFTをいくつか集めてたんだ。そもそも高価なものではなかったから、そこら辺に落ちてるようなもんだ。

今、注目してるNFTを2つ紹介すると、Ocean ProtocolとWeaver Labsだ。OCEANは、ブロックチェーン上のデータの所有権や著作権を表すData NFTを開発してるんだ。一方、Weaver LabsはNFTを使って通信資産をデジタル化して、サービスとして利用できるようにしてる。

I did collect some NFTs during the last NFT run because I liked them and not to flip them for profit. They also weren't expensive to begin with, just few cents here and there. Right now, the 2 projects I'm following that are using the NFT to make a difference are Ocean Protocol and Weaver Labs. OCEAN developed Data NFT to represent the ownerships/copyright of data on the blockchain while Weaver Labs uses NFT to digitize telecom assets and open them up to be consumed as a service.

NFT技術は今後大きくなるけど、NFTを使ったときにみんなが買うのは、JPG画像じゃないよ。

People just thought when fees are high, the NFT also has to be worth a lot... but a worthless jpg is a worthless jpg... NFT technology will be big in the future, but jpgs won't be what people buy when they use NFTs...

i'm a firm believer in the blockchain and crypto in general but these NFT.. never believed in it once.

NFTってのは、目的がなければ持つ意味がないんだ。持つ価値のあるNFTは、現実世界の資産によって支えられてるものだけだよ。

俺がNFTで価値があると思うのは、不動産、金貨、宝石、あとゲームかな（でも多分ない）。

ゲームは、既存のMMORPG（大規模多人数同時参加型オンラインRPG）は、仮想通貨抜きでもリアル世界のトレーディングがあるから、例えば20年来の「World of Warcraft」や「EVE Online」のゴールドセラーとか。だから、ゲームにとって仮想通貨って必ずしも必要じゃないんだよ。

The thing with NFTs is that without a purpose, there is no reason to own it. NTFs worth owning are those which are backed by a real world asset. I only see Real Estate, Gold Coins, Gemstones and maybe Gaming(probably not) as viable for NFTs. For Gaming probably not because existing MMORPGs already have some real world trading without Crypto like the Gold Sellers of WOW or EVE Online since 20 years so crypto is not even mandatory for games.

くだらないサルの絵に投資する奴らは別の話だ。

任天堂がポケモンのNFTを作って、ユーザーが自慢できるプラットフォームを作ればいいと思うんだ。でも、それ以外のほとんどのNFTってのは単なる金の無駄だ。

チケットサービスなんかと連携して、完全実装された機能を見るのを待ってるさ。

Only nfts I mess with are the Reddit ones because they're a bit of fun and , most are affordable. People speculating on trash monkey drawings is another thing . Nintendo could make Pokémon nfts and have build out some platform for users to show them , but most other nfts are just cash grabs . Still waiting to see fully implemented nft functions with things like ticketing services etc

My only NFT was my free avatar on reddit and I think this has been one of my very few good investment decisions

Well, at least 95% of NFTs were probably worthless from the beginning so this fits.

Seeing how most NFT's have died out I'm glad that I didn't get involved in trading them when the hype train was on. Cheers to everyone that made money though :)

友達の勧めでゲイリー・ビー（アメリカの連続起業家）のNFTを買ったんだ。実際にメリットがあったから（限定イベントに参加できるなど）。

ゲイリー・ビーは好きじゃないけど、売ったときに二人ともまともなお金を得ることができたよ。

今でも唯一まともなNFTだったと思う。言いたくないけど、値段は上がり、実質的な価値がある。

Bought Gary Vee NFTs at the behest of a friend and cuz they had actual benefits to them (going to VeeCon for one). I dont like GaryVee but when we sold we both made a decent chunk of change. To date it's the only NFT I think that got it right which I don't like saying but...they went up, have r wl value to them, and they look dumb.

本業の一環でアートをやってる私からすると、NFTってのはアート市場そのものみたいなもんよ。

要するにステータスアピールするオンラインゲームみたいなやつ。レディットとかで「自慢気に」自分の金持ってるアピールをして、他のイカした連中に自分のセンスの良さをひけらかす。「イケてる」とか「目新しい」やつが価値上がるけど、たいてい流行りものとか一時的なブームで終わっちゃう。

この一種のオンラインゲームがヒップホップ要素を全面的に押し出すような、鼻につくほど流行り重視でなければ、もっと多くの人がNFT市場に参加していたかもな。

でも、今どきの人は人付き合いが下手だから、大事なアート作品をネット上に保管して自慢したがるけど、同じ金があれば、部屋に本物の絵を飾った方がマシでしょ。

もちろん、中にはいい作品もあるよ。デジタルアートとしては、今まで見たことのないような、面白いものばっか。でも、結局、あれをちゃんと発展させるには、キュレーターが必要だと思うんだよね。だって、今のままだと、美術品市場とデジタルコレクターの間みたいな中途半端なもんじゃん。

As someone who does real art partly professionally, it's basically the art market. Steez wars MMO. Show off your wealth- sometimes "publically" in places like reddit -and demonstrate your overall taste in culture to other wigsters. "Cool" and novel things rise in value, but most steady movement is fads/trends. If the hypebeast theme of this MMO wasn't so obnoxiously hip-hop people might want to do more with it. But it speaks to the castrated sense of interpersonal space in today's world that people would rather store and display expensive creative items on the internet than e.g. fill up a room with real paintings, for the same money. A lot of the work is definitely good, I mean, interesting as digital art in ways that hadn't been commonly seen prior. But imo it needs curators, since its natural evolution is into something resembling the physical fine art world. Right now it's somewhere between that and digital trading cards. Rich man's Pinterest? idk.
