大都市への通勤圏内の快適な田舎であれば、US$20,000以下で、良質な空き家を購入することができる。

You can purchase a decent quality akiya (vacant house) in "walk in" condition in a pleasant rural area within easy commuting range of the big cities for under US$20,000.

いくら稼ぐかではなく、銀行口座にいくら残っているかが重要なのだ。たくさん稼いでも、無頓着に使ったり、不必要なものに散財したりすれば、結局は貧乏になる。😅

It’s not how much you earn but how much is left in your bank account. You can earn a lot but if you spend mindlessly and splurge on unnecessary things, you will still end up poor. 😅

給与や収入を尋ねるときは、必ず税引き前か税引き後かを尋ねてほしい。そうでなければ、これらの数字を比較することができないので、価値がない。ありがとう。

When you ask for salary or income, please always ask if that is before or after taxes. Otherwise these numbers are worthless as one cannot compare them. Thank you.

日本の問題は、これだけ賃金が低くて生活が苦しいのに、韓国、中国、ベトナム、インドなど他のアジア諸国と違って、海外に出て行く日本人が少ないことだ。海外に出て行く日本人が増えれば、国や企業は危機感を持ち、人手不足で賃金を上げざるを得なくなる。

The problem with Japan is that even though the wages are so low and it is difficult to live, there are few Japanese people who go abroad unlike other Asian countries such as Korea, China, Vietnam and India. If more and more Japanese people go abroad, countries and companies will have a sense of crisis, and they will have to raise wages due to lack of manpower.
